  • Dash4Cash is not part of the Affiliate Classes at the Championships.  It is classified as category 11 where the Open falls under category 1.

    This allows the payout for the Dash4Cash to be higher than the other classes and for the qualifier rules to be different.

    For the D4C qualification can happen separately as horse and rider.  As long as a horse and rider has shown at an NRHA Approved show since the last championships, qualification criteria has been met.

    For the Open class, horse and rider have to have shown as a combination in an open class at an NRHA Approved show since the last championships.

Beginner Series Questions

Please see all rules posted to our Facebook page here.

  • Any NRHA Oceania Club membership.

  • No qualification criteria but you are not able to compete in any other 1 handed NRHA Class.  You are able to complete in Green Reiner (if qualified to do so) & Freestyle

  • Any horse can be ridden by the beginner, but the horse must remain the same throughout each of the sections.

General Show Questions

  • You need to be a member of the NRHA as well as an affiliate club for the classes you have to qualify for and just an NRHA member for the Derby & Futurity (non-qualifying classes)

  • If you have shown in an NRHA approved show, you have qualified for that class with the horse you have shown on.  Qualification is a horse/rider combination.  For example, if you were at the last VRHA Show that was an NRHA Approved show and showed in Rookie 1, you are eligible to complete in Rookie 1 at the Championships.  If you would like to enter Rookie 2 in the Championships, you will need to attend another NRHA approved show to qualify for that class.

    Classes that do not need qualifying are;

    • Beginner Series

    • Freestyle

    • Novice Horse

    • Derby

    • Futurity

    International riders do not have to qualify.

  • It is a horse/rider combination for all Affiliate classes for the 2024 MultiCube NRHA Oceania Affiliate Championships.

     The Dash4Cash (not an Affiliate class), a rider and horse can qualify separately.

  • The Affiliate Classes are;

    Open
    Non Pro
    Intermediate Open & Non Pro
    Limited Open/Non Pro
    Prime Time Non Pro
    Rookie Professional
    Youth
    Green Reiner 1 & 2
    Rookie 1 & 2
    Prime Time Rookie

  • Warmup Pen Rules are circles on the hour and run downs on the half hour.  We will be sticking by this at the 2024 MultiCube NRHA Affiliate Championships with a red light showing for run downs and a green one for circles.

    Please use your common sense in the pen.  If there are too many horses you may need to wait until some finish their session.

    Ideally you do not have headphones in that do not allow you to hear others around you as this could be dangerous.  Be aware of your surroundings.
